Data Removal Request for PlateWise

How to request deletion

1. Send an email to jonypaul066@gmail.com.
2. Use the subject line PlateWise Data Deletion Request.
3. Send the request from the email address connected to your account, if your account uses an email address.
4. Include your account email or app user identifier if available. Do not send your password.

We may ask for limited information to verify that you control the account. This verification information is used only to protect the account from unauthorized deletion.

Data covered by the request

After verification, the request may delete the cloud records associated with your account, including:

• Firebase authentication account or anonymous account identifier.
• Profile details and nutrition targets.
• Meal history, calorie and macro records.
• Weight, water and daily-progress records.
• Uploaded meal images stored in the account’s cloud-storage path.
• Account-linked chat or food-analysis records where stored.

Information not controlled by the request

• Local device data: Clear the App’s storage or uninstall it to remove information stored only on your device.
• De-identified statistics: Information that can no longer be associated with an account may not be recoverable for deletion.
• Security records and backups: Limited records may remain temporarily where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, disaster recovery or legal obligations.
• Third-party advertising data: Use your device and Google advertising controls for information handled independently by advertising providers.

Processing the request

We will review and process verified requests within the period required by applicable law. We will confirm when the request has been completed or explain if additional verification or a lawful retention exception applies.

Deletion is permanent. Deleted meal history, progress and uploaded images may not be recoverable.
